Graduation Ceremony Details

The Liberty Hill ISD Class of 2025 Graduation will take place on Friday, May 23rd, at 8:00 PM at Panther Stadium, located at 16500 W State Hwy 29 Liberty Hill, TX 78642.

 

  • Gate & Parking Information:

    • Stadium gates will open at 7:00 PM.
    • The parking lot will be available starting at 5:30 PM.
    • Both the home and visitor sides of the stadium will be open for seating.

 

  • Seating & Guest Information:

    • Guests may sit on either side of the stadium.
    • Graduates will receive a seating map prior to the event to indicate which side of the stadium is closest to their assigned seat.

 

Cap & Gown Pickup:
Seniors can pick up their graduation cap and gown on May 8th during all lunches (11:55 AM – 2:05 PM) near Panther Stairs.

  • Students with outstanding obligations (e.g., owed hours, unreturned library books, or athletic uniforms) must resolve them before receiving their cap and gown.
  • Any remaining caps and gowns can be picked up in the LHHS front office after May 8th.

  • No, tickets are NOT required to attend the Class of 2025 graduation.

    Seating will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, we do recommend carpooling, as parking is expected to be at or near capacity for this event.

  • On graduation day, Seniors MUST report to the graduation site no later than 6:30pm. Seniors must check in with campus staff at the PAC Foyer (area between the main gym and PAC) and check-in with a staff member.

    • Graduates must be on their best behavior upon arrival, during, and after the event. 
    • Students (including graduates) must follow the LHISD student code of conduct.
    • Students (including graduates) must follow the LHISD student dress code.
      • Graduates are encouraged (but not required) to wear business casual clothing to the event.
    • Graduates are prohibited from bringing keys or cellular devices on their person during the event. Please plan accordingly.
    • Graduates are expected to remain seated and in attendance through the end of the graduation ceremony.
      • We ask that Seniors remain with their Class of 2025 and not leave early before the event ends, unless an emergency occurs.

    Failure to adhere to these guidlines can result in removal from the event or other disciplinary actions.

  • Parking will open at 5:30 PM on graduation day.

    Guests may park in designated areas surrounding Panther Stadium. Parking is free and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    Disabled parking spots as well as a designated drop-off area are located in front of the building. Handicap placards will be REQUIRED to utilize these spots, so please plan accordingly.

  • Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For families with ADA requirments, we recommend reaching out to Lindsey Curington directly prior to the event.

    Additionally, students will be informed of their position on the field during graduation practice, and will be able to inform families the optimal seating arrangement to see their graduate.

  • For guests with accessibility accommodation requirements, or those who require ADA accessibile seating, please reach out to Lindsey Curington directly. We recommend reaching out in advance to ensure special requests or needs are met properly.

  • Please note that failure to comply with guidelines may result in ejection from the venue.

    • Failure to comply may result in removal from the venue. The following are not allowed:

      🚫 Food & drinks (except sealed water bottles)
      🚫 Smoking, vaping, or alcohol
      🚫 Laser pointers, noisemakers, air horns
      🚫 Drones, pets (except service animals)
      🚫 Balloons, confetti, powder, large posters, streamers
      🚫 Glitter (thrown, displayed, or worn)
      🚫 Weapons of any kind, including firearms and explosives
      🚫 Any item deemed inappropriate by LHISD staff

  • Graduation attire includes a graduation robe, cap, tassel, and any official regalia awarded by your campus.

    No decorated caps, flowers, leis, money necklaces, Mardi Gras beads, flags, chains, LED flashing lights, etc. are permitted during the ceremony.

    Seniors are encouraged to dress business casual. Do not bring any bags or items. The area where Seniors line will not be monitored at all times; therefore, no items can be left in this area.

  • To ensure a safe environment, Panther Stadium follows a clear bag policy.

    Permitted Bags:
    βœ” Clear bags (maximum 12” x 6” x 12”)
    βœ” One-gallon clear plastic storage bags
    βœ” Small clutches (hand-sized, with or without a strap)

    All guests may be subject to bag checks. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.

  • Photos of the event will be made available to the public via Liberty Hill ISD distribution shortly after the event has concluded.

    We cannot guarantee perfect photos for each student, but the best attempt will be made to capture these moments with the reverence they deserve. For questions or concerns regarding event photos, please contact the LHISD communications department directly.

  • The 2025 Graduation will be streamed live on the Liberty Hill ISD YouTube channel. To report technical issues during the event, please contact the LHISD information technology team directly.

  • Liberty Hill ISD is committed to ensuring a memorable graduation ceremony for all seniors. In the event of extreme weather, alternative arrangements will be made for the ceremony at Panther Stadium. Any necessary updates will be shared via the district website, social media, and direct notifications to high school families.

    The ceremony will be recorded and broadcast on the district’s YouTube page. We appreciate the flexibility and understanding of our students and families as we prioritize both celebration and safety.
