Bryon Ellison - Principal

Bryon EllisonIt is an honor to introduce myself as the principal of LIberty Hill High School in this extraordinary school community.  I can assure you that I share in this school community’s commitment to caring for children each and every day while providing them a world-class learning environment.

I am a seasoned high school teacher and building principal, but in addition to my role as an educator, I am first and foremost a father to three boys and husband.  I look forward to introducing my family to the many wonderful people that call Liberty Hill High School “home” in the near future.

The 2024-2025 school year will mark my 23rd year in education. I graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a degree in Physical Education.  I obtained my Masters of Education in Administration from Lamar University.  My teaching experience includes teaching two years in Austin, Texas at the high school level.  I taught for five years in Round Rock, Texas at the high school level and in Leander, Texas for thirteen years as a teacher and Associate Principal at Vista Ridge High School.  Although I have always felt at home in the classroom, it is in my position as an administrator, where I have been most fulfilled in my life’s work.

I look forward to celebrating our collective successes during the 2024-2025 school year.
