Good morning Liberty Hill High School staff and families, 

This morning, the Blanco ISD Board of Trustees approved Kent Walker as their new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. Coach Walker has been a dedicated member of the Liberty Hill ISD community for many years, most recently serving the past four years as Head Football Coach and Campus Athletic Coordinator at Liberty Hill High School. Under his leadership, the football program achieved several deep playoff runs, and our campus athletic programs flourished. Coach Walker proudly continued the Walker family legacy within our district leaving a lasting impact on our students, staff, and community.. 

We are incredibly grateful for Coach Walker’s commitment and service, as well as the unwavering support of the entire Walker family. Their impact on our students, staff, and community has been deeply valued, and we wish them our best as they embark on this new opportunity.

In the interim, Coach David Seaborn will serve as the Liberty Hill High School Campus Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach. Coach Seaborn has served Liberty Hill ISD for four years as an assistant football coach, track coach and the campus strength and conditioning coordinator. He is deeply committed to supporting our athletes and continuing the strong traditions and goals established by all of our athletic programs as we wrap up the school year and look ahead into summer camps and conditioning.

The position of Campus Athletic Coordinator/Head Football Coach at Liberty Hill High School will be posted on the LHISD Career Page later today. The search for our next athletic leader will begin immediately.
